Rev. Chaz Lowder
Chaz was raised in an Alliance church where the Lord lit a fire in his heart for ministry. He served as a youth pastor for several years connecting with kids through games, fun, thoughtful studies and teaching, and of course, music. But Chaz's pastoral voice began to reach beyond youth as he stepped out into radio. He began delivering the message of hope at a Christian radio station in Visalia, California, where he and his family lived at the time. The Lowders then moved back to Minnesota and Chaz joined the PraiseLive team hosting a daily radio show, which is broadcast around the world.
Teaching, music, and radio are his passions, but he truly shines in discipleship. Carolyn says: "Chaz has a unique and natural way of connecting with people like I've never seen before. When we were missionaries in Belize, everyone knew him on the small island that we lived on. People flocked to him. They would stop by day and night to talk to him and at the end of every conversation, people would walk away wanting to be a better human being. It is amazing to see God touch people's lives through Chaz."
Chaz is a constant source of creativity and energy and he focuses his attention and talents on sharing hope with the world.
Carolyn did not grow up in a musical family but felt the call of God to sing in her teenage years. After meeting her now husband, Chaz, she soon began leading worship with him at various churches in the Twin Cities area. Living as missionaries in the country of Belize was a major highlight for Carolyn. "Everyday we were able to build relationships with people and share hope with them.
Chaz and Carolyn live in St. Paul, Minnesota with their 3 kids, 2 cats, and a dog.
